James W. Hensley, 54, of 511 Beech Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, died suddenly on Thursday, May 29, 2008, at Joint Township Hospital in Saint Marys.

He was born June 22, 1953, in Saint Marys, the son of James “Muscles” and Nella Faye (Morris) Hensley. They preceded him in death.

He married Debra Keysor on June 23, 1973; she survives at the residence.

He is survived by his three children: Jack Hensley of Saint Marys; Charity (Rodney) Kuck of New Knoxville; Bryant “BeBop” (Chrissy) Hensley of Saint Marys; by five grandchildren: Boston, Corey, Skyler, Natalie and Teighan; by his siblings: Larry (Mary) Hensley of Saint Marys; Brenda (Mike) Price of Camden, South Carolina; Thomas Keith Hensley of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Donald Hensley of Saint Marys; Roger Hensley of Wapakoneta; Steve (Kathy) Hensley of Botkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jim was employed at Parker-Hannifin Corporation in Saint Marys. He enjoyed spending time watching and encouraging his grandchildren play sports; he had coached Little League baseball in previous years and was the coach of the West Ohio Wranglers Semi-Pro football team. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and fishing.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 3, 2008, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, Pastor Robert Mabry, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, where memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Fund.
