Kathryn M. “Kate” Harris, 78, of 02916 Greenville Road in St.Marys, OH and 505 Xerox Drive in Fraser, CO, died 6:18 p.m. Sunday November 11, 2007 at the JTDM Hospital in St.Marys, OH.

She was born August 16, 1929 in Noble Twp. - Auglaize Co., OH to Orval & Gertrude (Sheaks) Stoner.

On July 28, 1946 in Covington, KY, she married George William “Bill” Harris, who survives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orval & Gertrude Stoner; sister, Gladys Schultz; brother, Robert Stoner; sister, Jenelle Stevely;  sister & brother-in-law Mary Lou (Frank) Stuck.

A homemaker and businesswoman, she assisted her family in the operation of the St.Marys Trucking Co in St.Marys, OH and the Fraser Valley Ace Hardware Store in Fraser, CO for many years. She was currently partnered with her husband in the operation of Harris Business Consulting.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, baking cookies

Services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Thursday November 15, 2007 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, OH with the Rev. Keith Stuck, officiating. Burial will follow at the Buckland Cemetery in Buckland, OH.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 4 - 8 p.m.,  Wednesday and one hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
