Edith Harner, 85, 317 Jack Oak Point Road, St.Marys, OH died at 4:15 p.m. Sunday, September 16, 2007 at Joint Township Memorial Hospital in St.Marys, OH. 

Edith was born September 3,1922 in Allen County, OH, the daughter of Howard and Ruth (Boroff) Thomas. 

She married Oreal “Dave” Harner on October 5, 1951 in Angola, IN and he preceded her in death on March 24,1989.

 She is survived by:

· Son, Ron (Carol) Harner, Tiffin, OH

· Daughter, Rhonda (Dana) Runnion, St.Marys, OH

· 3 Grandchildren:  Caron Harner; David (Sarah) Harner and Sam Runnion.

· Brother, Carl Thomas, Rockford, OH

· Brother, Ross Thomas, Buckland, OH

· Brother, Doyt Thomas, St.Marys, OH

· Dale (Mary Ann) Thomas, Wapakoneta, OH

· Sister, Ruth May (Elmer) Hubbard, W. Lafayette, IN

 She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Glenn Thomas and John Thomas. 

She was a 1940 graduate of St.Marys Memorial High School.  She was retired from Huffy Corp., Celina, OH.  She greatly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed  camping, reading, traveling, playing cards and dominoes with her friends.  She was a volunteer at Agape and was a member of the Auglaize County Homemakers group of the County Extension office. 

 She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church in St.Marys, OH.

Funeral services will be held  10:30 A.M. Wednesday, September 19,2007 at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home,314 W. High St., St.Marys, OH with the Rev. Mary Kay Brown officiating.  Burial will follow at Mercer County Memory Gardens, Celina, OH.
