Norma E. Gutmann, 88, formerly of 11322 VanBuren Street in Fryburg, OH died 2:37 a.m. Wednesday March 3, 2010 at Auglaize Acres Nursing Home in Wapakoneta, OH.

She was born April 26, 1921 in rural Shelby Co., OH to John and Elizabeth (Thaman) Tebbe.

On July 26, 1941 in Fryburg, she married Gilbert G. Gutmann, who died May 4, 1991.

She is survived by:

daughter, Judie A. Perry of Wapakoneta, OH

son, Joseph (Crystal) DiFranco of Henderson, NV

daughter, Martha Boughner of LaBelle, FL

10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, John M. Gutmann and nine brothers and sisters

She was a1938 graduate of Minster, OH High School.

She was a retired production employee for Superior Tube Co. in Wapakoneta, OH.

She had volunteered many years at JTDM Hospital in St.Marys. She was a  member of St.John’s Catholic Church in Fryburg, OH.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 6, 2010 at the St.John’s Catholic Church in Fryburg, with the Rev. Oscar Seger, celebrant.

Memorial contributions may be directed to either: St.John’s Catholic Church or Auglaize Acres activity fund. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road in St.Marys.
