David L. Guggenbiller, 76, of 831 Heather Drive in St.Marys, OH died 7:40 p.m. Thursday September 13, 2007 at the Wapak Manor Nursing Home.

He was born October 19, 1930 in Ft.Recovery, OH to Leo & Alberta (Vogel) Guggenbiller.

On March 2, 1960 in Nashville, TN he married Ethele E. Wright, who survives.

Son Allen Guggenbiller of St.Marys, OH

Son Brian Guggenbiller of St.Marys, OH

Sister Donna Parisi of Madison, WI

Sister Marlene Winner of Roswell, GA

Sister Marguerite Krider of South Dakota.

Sister Virginia (Ralph) Bechtol of Ft.Recovery, OH

He was preceded in death by: his parents, by two brothers-in-law, Dr. Jim Winner and Joe Parisi.

He was a retired heating and air conditioning repairman and salesman.

He was Catholic by faith.

He was a graduate of Ft.Recovery High School, where he was captain of the state champion basketball team. He earned the title of Eagle Scout in his youth.

He was a veteran of the United States Army.  He was a member of FOE Aerie # 767 in St.Marys.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing bingo. An avid sports fan, he especially enjoyed supporting the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and Cleveland Browns.

Services for Mr. Guggenbiller are scheduled for 7:00 P.M. Monday, September 17, 2007, at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Anthony Cutcher, officiating. Private family interment will take place.

Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 5-7 P.M. Monday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
