Judith A. Grimes, 65, of 10362 State Route 66, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 7:08 A.M. Monday, October 25, 2010, at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster.

She was born October 7, 1945, in Lima, Ohio, the daughter of Norman and LaRue (Eversman) Schrolucke.
She married Robert Grimes on September 6, 1964 and he survives at the residence.
She is also survived by her father, Norman Schrolucke, of Saint Marys; by two daughters: Lisa (Lynn) Donovan of Lima; Tanya (Scott) Temple of New Bremen; by eight grandchildren: Tyler, Taylor, Trey, Trent, Troy and Tiana Donovan; Grant and Hayden Temple; by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale (Evelyn) Grimes of New Knoxville.

She was preceded in death by her mother, LaRue Schrolucke, and by a sister, Elizabeth Thomas.

Judy was a 1963 graduate of New Knoxville High School and a graduate of Miami-Jacobs College. She retired from the Auglaize County Educational Service Center after 27 years of service.

Judy was a lifelong member of the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, where she had been a member of the choir and taught Sunday School in the junior department. She loved spending time with her family and traveling.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 28, 2010, at the First United Church of Christ in New Knoxville, the Reverend David Williams, officiant. Burial will be held at Pilger Ruhe Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday in the Prayer Room of the First United Church of Christ, where memorial donations may be directed to the Auglaize County Cancer Association; Grand Lake Hospice or the New Building Fund of the First United Church of Christ.
