Nancy L. Greiwe, 62, of Wapakoneta, died suddenly at 10:15 P.M. Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Saint Ritas Medical Center in Lima.
She was born February 18, 1949, in Ada, Ohio, the daughter of Homer and Pearl (Lamb) Maxson.
She is survived by her two sons: Gary (Jessie Larson) Greiwe of Pittsburgh, PA; Dennis (Kim) Greiwe of Wapaoneta; a daughter-in-law, Amy Greiwe of Waynesfield; four grandchildren: Thomas Greiwe, Kyle Greiwe, Hannah Greiwe and Jessica Greiwe; by her siblings: Carol McDowell of California; Cathy Stimmel of Elida; Barb (John) Gieder of Pittsurgh, PA; Terry (Rod) Doyle of Martinsville, Indiana; Virgil Maxson of Lima; Denny Maxson of Wapakoneta.
She was preceded in death by her parents; by two sons, David and Christopher Greiwe.
Nancy was the owner of the former Your Place Restaurant in Waynesfield and the owner of the“ Soo-ausage Barn”, and traveled to fairs and festivals in the area selling sausage sandwiches. She loved doing landscaping work, growing flowers, watching science fiction movies and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed music and was a member of VFW Post 9289 Auxiliary in Saint Marys.
Memorial services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys.
Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be given to the Leukemia-Lymphomy Society.
