David Lee Greenbaum, 73, of 716 W. Chillicothe Street in Bellefontaine, OH died 8:30 a.m. Tuesday April 26, 2011 at his residence. 

He was born May 19, 1937 in Dayton, OH to Carrol and Audrey (Pierce) Greenbaum. 

On November 19, 1960 in Bellefontaine, OH he married Beulah M. Fradd, who survives. 

He is also survived by:

Son, Mark (Laura) Greenbaum of St. Marys, OH

Son, Kim (Diane) Greenbaum of Bellefontaine, OH

Son, Dwight (Sherrie) Greenbaum of Rushylvania, OH

Daughter, Deborah (Mark) Bell of Richmond, IN

14 grandchildren 13 great-grandchildren

Sister, Marilyn (Gaylord) Kossel of Jackson Center, OH 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, James Benshoff. 

He worked as a production employee for the Siemens Corp. in Bellefontaine for 26 years.  A professional photographer, he operated David Lee Photography Studio in Bellefontaine for a number of years. In addition, he served as a traveling evangelistic minister who was known for the use of chalk drawings during his sermon presentations. 

He was a member of the Monroe Community Church in Pickrelltown, OH, the Puppeteers of America, International Brotherhood of Magicians, National Woodcarvers Association and member and past president of the Columbus, OH Puppet Guild. 

He was an accomplished artist, having created numerous oil paintings. A master puppet maker, his specialty was the crafting of marionettes. The performance of magic tricks and assorted illusions to area groups was a favorite pastime of his.  Dave was dearly loved by his family and friends. 

Funeral services for Mr. Greenbaum are scheduled 1:00 p.m. Friday April 27, 2011 at Monroe Community Church in rural Logan Co., OH., with Pastor Tim Sherer and Pastor Charles Jarrett, co-officiating. Burial will follow at Zanesfield Cemetery, in Zanesfield, OH.

Public visitation 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Friday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Monroe Community Church. 

Arrangements are entrusted to the Miller Funeral Home in St. Marys, OH.
