Sue Gasson, 62, of  909 Motz Street, Saint Marys, died 6:15 P.M. Saturday, December 24, 2011, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys.

She was born November 26, 1949, the daughter of Leota (Keiber) Brincefield.
 

She married Paul Gasson on June 17, 1967 and he preceded her in death on February 7, 2011.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Amy (James) Abbott of Saint Marys; by three grandsons: Vincent and Marcus Wagner of Saint Marys; Christopher Abbott of Sidney;  by three brothers: Ted (Patty) Brincefield of Lake Havasu, Arizona; Jack Brincefield of Celina; Neal (Connie) Brincefield of Wapakoneta; by three sisters: Nancy (Melvin) Heidt of Corpus Christi, Texas; Barbara Clark of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; Brenda Weaver of Saint Marys; by numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her mother; by five brothers: Robert, Larry, Lewis, Michael and David Brincefield; by two sisters, Sarah Lee Brincefield and Rebecca Dysert.

 

Sue was a graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. She had coached girl’s softball and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. She loved being a grandmother.

 

Funeral rites will be held 7:00 P.M. Thursday, December 29, 2011, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, the Reverend Bill Drummond, officiant. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services on Thursday, where memorial donations may be made to Sue’s family.
