Paul Gasson, 63, of 909 Motz Street, Saint Marys, died 7:40 A.M. Monday, February 7, 2011, at his residence following a brief illness.

He was born March 17, 1947, in Mercer County, the son of Norbert and Lucille (Dipmore) Gasson.

He married Sue Ann Brincefield on June 17, 1967; she survives at the residence. 

He is also survived by one daughter, Amy (James) Abbott of Saint Marys; by two grandsons: Vincent and Marcus Wagner of Saint Marys; by two aunts, Delores Hoenie of Florida; Mary Francis of Saint Marys. 

Paul was preceded in death by his parents.

He was a 1967 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School and he attended the Univ of Toledo. He was a licensed boiler operator and was the owner of Gasson Locksmith Service. He retired from Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in Saint Marys, where he served as head of the maintenance department.  He enjoyed woodworking, candle making and fishing. He dearly loved his grandsons and will be remembered as a wonderful father and husband. 

Funeral rites will be held 4:00 P.M. Thursday, February 10, 2011, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys. Private family burial rites will be held at a later date.

Friends may call from 2-4 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
