Mary B. Gallimore, 88, formerly of 111 North Van Street, and a resident of Otterbein Saint Marys Retirement Community died 5:05 P.M. Monday, August 29, 2011, at Otterbein Saint Marys.

She was born April 5, 1923, in Celina, Ohio, the daughter of Jacob and Anna (Snow) Sholler.
She married Rolland Gallimore on December 11, 1943 and he preceded her in death on October 4, 1999.

She is survived by her seven children: Donna Gallimore of Minster; Gary (Pat) Gallimore of Saint Marys; Diane Behm of Saint Marys; Michael (Charlotte) Gallimoe of Maryville, Tenn; Terry Gallimore of Saint Marys; Steve Gallimore of Saint Marys; Stacey Klinger of Saint Marys; by 28 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; by two sisters: Dorothy George and Lois Rehn, both of Crestline, Ohio; by her brother, Ray Sholler of Saint Marys.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter, Mary Ann Figel.

Mary was a graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta. She was a homemaker and had also worked at Fisher Cheese, Saint Marys Cotton Mill and Joint Township District Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Saint Marys. She enjoyed making sewing, knitting, making crafts and camping. She will be remembered as a wonderful cook.

Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Friday, September 2, 2011, in the Meyer Community Chapel on the campus of Otterbein Saint Marys Retirement Community, the Reverend Tim Smith, officiant. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Thursday at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to either Otterbein Saint Marys Benevolent Fund of Joint Township Hospice.
