Cyrus “Jimmy” Frey, 55, of Saint Marys, was found dead on Friday, November 18, 2011, near Grand Lake Saint Marys.

 

He was born January 26, 1956, in Saint Marys, the son of John and Eleanor (Walker) Frey and they preceded him in death.

 

He is survived by three sons: Dustin (Felissa Contreras) Frey of Saint Marys; Jeremy Frey of Saint Marys; Justin (Melissa Graves) of Saint Marys; by his siblings: Mike (Deb) Frey of Saint Marys; John (Barb) Frey, Jr. of Colorado Springs, Colo; Jane (Ron) Paulus of Pasadena, Texas; by two grandchildren: Kaleb and Emma.
 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Jimmy was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He had previously worked at AAP Corp in Saint Marys and Plasti-Pak in Jackson Center.

He enjoyed hunting for arrowheads and was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved fishing and trapping.
 

Funeral rites will be held 12:00 Wednesday, November 23, 2011, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys. Military burial rites will be performed at Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton, Ohio.  Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at the funeral home.
