Phyllis J. Freewalt, 65, of 315 N. Buckeye Street in Celina, OH died 6:02 a.m. Thursday March 10, 2011 at Gardens of Celina, OH. 

She was born May 27, 1945 in Celina, OH to Le Roy and Bessie (Sealscott) Trisel. 

On September 28, 1974 in Celina, OH, she married Edward L. Freewalt, who survives. 

She is also survived by:

Ssister Carolyn (Leroy) Broeker  of Coldwater, OH                               

Sister-in-law  Linda Lanzen  of Sarasota, FL                               

 2 nieces and 2 nephews 

She was preceded in death by her parents 

She was a 1963 graduate of Celina Sr. High School and also graduated from Wright State University, with a degree in sales and marketing. 

She had been employed in management at the former Huffy Bicycle Corp. for 25 years. Along with her husband, she operated both the Chateau Manor and Edwards Manor Apartments for a number of years. She was also an antique dealer and sales representative for both Heidelberg Distributors and Tastemore Snacks. In addition, they published and distributed the “Home Preview” real estate magazine in a seven-county area. She was also proud to have served as a confidential informant for various law enforcement agencies. Following her retirement, she worked at the local Walmart store in Celina. 

She was a member of the St.Paul’s United Methodist Church in Celina.  Her favorite pastime was traveling throughout the continental United States with her husband, Ed. 

Public visitation 2 – 6 p.m. Sunday March   13, 2011 at Miller – Long & Folk Funeral Home 314 W. High Street in St. Marys.

Private funeral services and burial will be conducted.
