Rosemary Flint, 87, of 813 West Oliver Street, Saint Marys, OH died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, at Joint Township Hospital in Saint Marys.

She was born September 6, 1921, in Muncie, Indiana, the daughter of Sanford and Oca (Anderson) Heaton.

She married Lon Flint, Jr. on May 17, 1946; he preceded her in death on September 22, 2001.

She is survived by her two children: Tim Flint of Saint Marys; Sue (Steve) Moyar of Saint Marys; by four grandchildren: Chad (Angie) Flint of Fort Loramie; Kendra Flint of Saint Marys; Justin (Ashley) Smith of New Knoxville; Mindy Miller of Saint Marys; by five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and by one son, David Lee Flint.

Rosemary was a 1939 graduate of Muncie Central High School. She attended Indiana Business College in Muncie. She worked in the Personnel Department of Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company in Muncie. She and her husband moved to Saint Marys, Ohio, in 1951; she retired from the Sturgeon Oil Company in Saint Marys. She enjoyed watching sports and spending time with her family. She was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in Saint Marys.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, March 9, 2009, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, the Reverend Mary Kay Brown, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to Wayne Street United Methodist Church.
