Michael A. East, 19, of 01722 US Route 33 West in St.Marys, OH died Wednesday, February 20, 2008 at his residence. 

He was born September 29, 1988 in Union City, IN to Michael D. & Sherryl (Heitkamp) East.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leonard East and great-grandparents, Clive & Flora Stumpff. 

He was a 2007 graduate of Memorial High School in St.Marys. Before moving to St.Marys, he attended schools in the Ansonia and Mississinawa Valley Local Districts.  He had recently been an employee at the Wal-Mart in Celina, OH.  He attended the Calvary Assembly of God Church in Union City, IN. 

An accomplished guitar player, he enjoyed all types of music and playing video games.

Funeral services are scheduled 2:00 p.m. Tuesday February 26, 2008 at the Calvary Assembly of God Church 720 N. Plum Street in Union City, IN, with Pastor Keith Tyler and Pastor Rich Collins, co-officiating. Burial will follow at the Saratoga Cemetery in Saratoga, IN.

Visitation 6 - 8 p.m. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road in St.Marys, OH. Additional visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
