Archie A. Dupont, 72, of 904 Hager Street in St. Marys, OH died 5:16 a.m. Sunday July 17, 2011 in the emergency department of JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born February 17, 1939 in Ranger, IN to Louis and Isabell (Oldham) Dupont.

He is survived by:

Son, Aaron (Candie) Lewis of Dayton, OH

Sister, Mary Lore  of St. Marys, OH

Nieces and nephews 

He was preceded in death by  his parents.

He worked for many years as a scrap yard technician for Mahaffey’s Auto Salvage on Valley Street in Dayton, OH.

He was of the Roman Catholic faith. His favorite pastimes included fishing and building model cars.

Private family funeral services will be held.

Burial will be at Harshman Cemetery, in Fairborn, OH.

Arrangements are entrusted to Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
