Dorothy Dotson, 71,of 1015 Hendricks Ave., St.Marys, OH died 2:24 a.m. Friday, October 17, 2008 at Lima Memorial Hospital, Lima, OH. 

She was born April 25,1937 in Lake City, TN, the daughter of Vernon and Laura (Smith) Henegar. 

She first married Wendel Lawson and he preceded her in death; she married Charles Dotson and he preceded her in death in 2007. 

She is survived by:

¨ Brother, James (Joan) Henegar of Albany, OH

¨ 5 step-grandchildren: Lee Dotson, St.Marys, OH; Shelly Dotson, Wapakoneta, OH; Nathan, Noah and Jacob Dotson, St.Marys, OH

¨ 3 step-great-grandchildren: Bradley, Zane and Gage Dotson

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a son, Allen Lawson; three brothers: Lloyd, Charles and Eddie Hennegar; by a sister, Hazel Barnes. 

Dorothy was retired from the Huffy Manufacturing Company in Celina, OH.   

She attended Victory Center Church of God in Wapakoneta, OH.  She loved going to church and shopping.

Funeral rites will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 20,  at Miller Funeral Home, Ohio 703 West Chapel, St.Marys, Ohio, the Rev. Scott Landis, officiant.  Burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery, St.Marys, OH.

Visiting hours for family and friends will be held Sunday, October 19, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
