OBITUARY
Joseph W. Doseck, 96, formerly of 14214 River Road in St. Marys, OH died 1:40 a.m. Thursday October 7, 2010 at his daughter’s residence in Celina, OH.
He was born September 9, 1914 on a farm in rural Auglaize Co., OH to Edward and Theresia (Becher) Doseck.
He was married to Vera Pauline Elston, who died April 3, 1995.
He is also survived by:

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Edward Doseck; brother,, Fred Doseck; sister, Laura Mosler.
He was a veteran of the US Army, having survived the attack on Pearl Harbor while stationed there.
A mechanic by trade, he was the retired owner/operator of Doseck’s Garage in St. Marys.
He was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in St. Marys.
Following his retirement, his life was dedicated to the service of others. He volunteered countless hours of his time to the ABLE program for the St. Marys City Schools, Auglaize Co. Victim’s Assistance program, JTDM Hospital and Grand Lake Home Health and Hospice Program.
Joe was proud of having received his GED at the age of seventy-two.
Rites are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Saturday October 9, 2010 at MILLER FUNERAL HOME 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys, with the Rev. Tim Smith and the Rev. Bill Drummond, co-officiating. Burial, with full graveside military rites, will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in St. Marys.
Visitation for family and friends will be held 5 - 8 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to either Grand Lake Hospice Program of Choosing Life Pregnancy & Resource Center.
