Charles Henry Doseck, 95, of St. Marys,OH died at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys. 

He was born March 15, 1916 in Auglaize County, Ohio, the son of Edward and Theresia (Becher) Doseck. 

On September 17, 1944, he married Juanita W. Osborne, who survives.

Son, Russ (Mary Jane) Doseck of Lima, OH 

Daughter, Shirley (Jim) Fenstermaker, of Vancouver, WA 

Son, Gene (Linda) Doseck of Lancaster, OH 

Daughter, Virginia (Jerrold) Hobler of St. Marys, OH 

11 Grandchildren 

15 great-grandchildren 

Sister, Theresia Fellows, Sebring, FL 

Brother, William Doseck of Botkins, OH  

Brother, Nicholas (Barb) Doseck of Botkins, OH 

Brother, Philip (Ruth) Doseck of St. Marys, OH 

He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Richard Doseck who died while serving his country in Vietnam, brothers Edward, Frederick and Joseph Doseck, and a sister, Laura Mosler. 

He farmed until 1971 and also retired from John’s Furniture Store in St. Marys.  He was a former member of Church of Christ in St. Marys.  He was an avid card player and loved playing table games, enjoyed garage sales and riding his bicycle. 

Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday April 9, 2011at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, with Pastor James Jamison of Meadowbrook Baptist Church, Lima officiating.Burial will be at a later date. 

Visitation for family and friends will be held 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.  Memorial donations may be directed to The Gideon’s for Bibles.  Condolences may be sent to the family via millerfuneralhomes.net.
