Thomas W. Dingledine, 84, of 914 Hackney Street in St. Marys, OH died 6:44 p.m. Friday December 31, 2010 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
He was a born April 14, 1926 in St. Marys, OH to Charles and Marie (Pohlabel) Dingledine.
On June 19, 1948 at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Minster, OH, he married Patricia A. Zumbroegel, who died March 6, 2002. On November 1, 2003 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Marys, he then married Mary Lou Vondenhuevel-Davis, who survives.

He was preceded in death by: parents Charles and Marie Dingledine, first wife Patricia Dingledine, infant son Jay Dingledine, brother Robert Dingledine, brother Charles Dingledine, brother James Dingledine. Also, four brothers and a sister all died in infancy.
He was a 1944 graduate of Memorial High School in St. Marys.
A veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre during World War II.
He retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. in St. Marys, where he worked 41 years as a pipefitter. He then work for a number of years at Bud’s Chevrolet dealership in St. Marys, where he served as driver coordinator.
He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Eagles Lodge Aerie # 767, American Legion Post # 323 and a life member of VFW Post # 9289, all in St. Marys.
His favorite pastimes included fishing, golfing and dancing.
Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled 10:30 a.m. Wednesday January 5, 201 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St. Marys, with the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher, celebrant. Burial, with full graveside military honors, will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in St. Marys.
Visitation 4 -8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:15 - 10:15 a.m. Wednesday at Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys.
Memorial contributions may be directed to a scholarship fund that is being established in Tom’s memory.
