Larry A. Dicke, 67, of 2109 Kensington Drive in St.Marys, OH died 1:35 a.m. Sunday October 18, 2009 at his residence.

He was born February 17, 1942 in , OH to Lafe Henry and Hazel (Hussey) Dicke.

On November 4, 1983 he married Betty Elshoff-Cotterman, who survives.

He is also survived by:

• step-daughter, Treva (Ernie) Hicks of New Knoxville, OH
• step-son, Jeff Cotterman of Las Vegas, NV
• 2 step-grandchildren
• 6 step-great-grandchildren
• sister, Wilda (Rev. James) Allison of New Lexington, OH

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Robert Dicke, Wilfred Dicke, Richard Dicke, Carl Dicke and sisters: Jean Adams, Elizabeth Schnarre

He was a graduate of Memorial High School (Class of 1960) and received an accounting degree from Bliss College in Columbus, OH.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Viet Nam War.

He retired as production employee from the Honda of America Mfg. in Anna, OH. He had also been employed by the St.Marys City School System and Eagles Lodge Aerie #767, both in St.Marys.

He was a wonderful chef and also enjoyed planting and tending his many flowers.

Private funeral services are scheduled. Burial will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, in St.Marys.
