Rosalie M. Decker, 92, formerly of 200 N. Knoxville Avenue in St.Marys, OH died 3:50 a.m. Wednesday November 12, 2008 at the JTDM Hospital in St.Marys.

She was born May 7, 1916 in Maria Stein, OH to Anthony and Margaret (Gast) Hartings.

On May 9, 1947, she married Fonn Wayne Decker, who died June 18, 1993.

She is survived by:

• son, John ( Delori s) Decker of St.Marys, OH

• son, James Decker of Montezuma, OH

• daughter, Mary (James) Stein of Celina, OH

• daughter, Sharon Thomas of St.Marys, OH

• daughter, Marlene Decker of St.Marys, OH

• daughter, Cheryl (Scott) Newberry of Wapakoneta, OH

• 8 grandchildren 14 great-grandchildren 3 great-great-grandchildren

• brother, Donald (Pearl) Hartings of North Richland Hills, TX

• sister, Martha Sherman of Montezuma, OH

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerome Hartings, brother Andrew Hartings, sister Viola Davis, sister Julia Heyne

She had been employed at the former Vanderhorst Cannnery Co. and retired as a production worker from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co., both in St.Marys.

She enjoyed quilting and making all types of crafts.

Services are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Saturday November 15, 2008 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Bill Maki, officiating. Burial will follow at the Resthaven Memory Gardens, near St.Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 6 - 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.

Arrangements are being completed with the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys.
