Margaret F. Davis, 97, formerly of Montezuma, OH, died 9:40 a.m. Saturday March 1, 2008 at the Otterbein Retirement Community, near Grand Lake St.Marys. 

She was born May 17, 1911 in Darke Co., OH to J. Fred & Cordella (Nick) Sellman. 

She is survived by:

¨ Son, John (Rebecca) Davis of St.Marys, OH

¨ 2 grandchildren: Mark Davis of Kettering, OH & Melissa Davis of St.Marys, OH

¨ Brother, John (Neva) Sellman of Tipp City, OH

¨ Sister, Joan Gebhart of Kettering, OH

¨ Numerous nieces & nephews 

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald H. Davis; brother, James Sellman; sister, Irene Gilbert. 

For many years, she and her husband owned and operated the former Davis Dairy Bar & Restaurant in Montezuma. 

She was a member of the St.Paul’s United Church of Christ in St.Marys, the VFW Auxiliary in Coldwater and the Order of Eastern Star in Dayton. 

The lives of her grandchildren were the most precious things in the world to her.

Services are scheduled 11:00 a.m. Wednesday March 5, 2008 at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys, with the Rev. Ed Bray, officiating. Burial will follow at the Burdge Cemetery, near Montezuma.

Visitation for family and friends will be held  4 - 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home on Ohio 703 West.
