Brian J. Daniel, of 718 South Wayne Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, died Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at his residence.

He was born August, 21, 1974, in Saint Marys, the son of Pastor Alva and Cheryl (McCollum) Daniel.

He married Dorothy Luedeke on November 14, 1998; she survives at the residence.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his parents, of Saint Marys; by two sons: Zane and Ezra Daniel of the home; by a brother, Sean (Christen) Daniel of Saint Marys; by his paternal grandparents, John and Pauline Daniel of Saint Marys; maternal grandmother, Annabelle McCollum of Saint Marys; by his in-laws: Benjamin and Laurel Luedeke of Coldwater, Ohio; by two sisters-in-law, Leslie (Kevin) Koesters of Saint Marys; Christi Craft of Saint Marys; by two brothers-in-law, Herbert Luedeke of New Bremen; Sean (Tonya) Luedeke of Saint Marys.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John McCollum.

Brian was a 1993 graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School. He was employed at WorkFlo 1 in Coldwater.

He was a member of Saint Marys Missionary Baptist Church, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. He liked to target shoot and ride his ATV and motorcycles. He will be remembered as a loving father who loved being with his kids.

Funeral rites will be held 10:30 A.M. Saturday, December 27, 2008, at the Saint Marys Missionary Baptist Church, Saint Marys, Pastor Terry Brock, officiant. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday, December 26, 2008, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial donations may be directed to the family to help defray funeral expenses.
