Mary M. Danaher, 81, of 126 Ohio Street in St.Marys, OH died 10:40 a.m. Tuesday June 19, 2007 at the Valley Nursing Home in St.Marys.

She was born October 11, 1925 in St.Marys, OH to Elmer & Mary (White) Youngs.

On May 3, 1947, she married John B. “Jack” Danaher, who died March 30, 1980.

She is survived by:

· Daughter, Cindy (Rick) King of St.Marys, OH

· Son, John “Jack” (Sandy) Danaher of St.Marys, OH

· Daughter, Mary Jo Danaher of St.Marys, OH

· Daughter, Peg (Ray) Murray of St.Marys, OH

· Daughter, Barb (Denny) Wiehe of St.Marys, OH

· Daughter, Elaine (Rick) Mallory of St.Marys, OH

· Son. Dan (Mary) Danaher of St.Marys, OH

· Daughter, Jan (Kim) Reiher of St.Marys, OH

· 18 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren

· Sister, Kathryn (Rodney) Luecke of St.Marys, OH

She was preceded in death by: parents, Elmer & Mary Youngs; husband, “Jack” Danaher; brother, Elmer “Bud” Youngs;  brother, John Youngs; brother, Bill Youngs; grandson, Charles Murray

Mary was a1943 graduate of Memorial High School in St.Marys.  She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church and its Ladies Sodality, the Legion of Mary, American Legion Post # 323 Auxiliary and VFW Post # 9289 Auxiliary, all in St.Marys.

She was a homemaker and had volunteered for the Holy Rosary School and the Auglaize Co. Board of Elections.  She enjoyed bowling and fishing, but most of all, she liked spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful, devoted mother and grandmother who will be greatly missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2007at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 511 E. Spring St., St.Marys, OH, with the Rev. Anthony E. Cutcher, celebrant.  Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in St.Marys.

Visitation will be held 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 22 and 8:30 -9:15 a.m. Saturday at Miller Funeral Home, Ohio 703 West Chapel, St.Marys, OH.  Memorial contributions may be directed to "Friends of Holy Rosary".
