Jeanette E. Crusie, 76, of 01687 Greenville Road in St.Marys, OH died 6:07 a.m. Sunday October 26, 2008 at her residence.

She was born August 8, 1932 in St.Rose, OH to Emil and Lucinda (Ellerbrock) Goettemoeller.

On September 24, 1955, she married Ted S. Crusie, who survives.

She is also survived by:

Daughter Cindy (Keith) Curtis of St.Marys, OH

Son Christopher J. (Susan) Crusie of St.Marys, OH

Daughter Michele (Rick) Saintignon of New Bremen, OH

6 grandchildren: Maria Hoffman, Lisa & Beth Curtis, Emily Saintignon, Jon & Mike Crusie

2 great-granddaughters: Danielle & Alison Hoffman

Sister-in-law Alma Goettemoeller of St.Henry, OH

Sister-in-law Bertha Goettemoeller of Maryville, MO

She was preceded in death by daughter Mary Therese Crusie, daughter Stephanie Crusie, son John Crusie, grandson Andrew Crusie, parents Emil & Lucinda Goettemoeller, brothers: Paul, David & John Goettemoeller

1950 graduate of the St.John’s High School in Maria Stein, OH and also was a graduate of the St.Elizabeth’s School of Nursing in Dayton, OH.

She was a homemaker and retired as a registered nurse from the JTDM Hospital, in St.Marys.

She had previously worked as a nurse at St.Rita’s Medical Center in Lima and as an office nurse for Dr. Wilke in Maria Stein.

She was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St.Marys.

A devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she also enjoyed fishing and sewing.

Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled 11:00 a.m. Wednesday October 29, 2008 at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church 511 E. Spring Street in St.Marys, with the Rev. Larry Wyen, C.P.P.S., celebrant. Burial will follow at the Gethsemane Cemetery, in St.Marys.

Visitation for family and friends will be held 2 - 4 & 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home (Ohio 703 West Chapel) in St.Marys.

Memorial contributions may be directed to either the Holy Rosary School, the Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Assoc.
