Fred L. Coldiron, 58, of 100 West Spring Street, Saint Marys, Ohio, died 8:08 P.M. Friday, October 9, 2009, at Saint Ritas Medical Center, Lima.
He was born July 28, 1951, in Welch, West Virginia, the son of John and Mary (Rocchi) Coldiron.
He is survived by his siblings: Linda (Terry) Zacharias of Saint Marys; Ernest (Tonya) Coldiron of Saint Marys; Jackie (Louise) Coldiron of Celina; Harley (Kathy) Coldiron of Dunnellon, Florida; Don (Joyce) Coldiron of Rushylvania, Ohio; Carl Coldiron of London, Ohio; by four step-children: Shonn (Jennifer) Kennedy of New Knoxville; Robert (Heather Dorsten) Kennedy of Celina; Scott Kennedy of Fort Worth, Texas; Ronald Kennedy of Wichita Falls, Texas; by six grandchildren; by his former wife, Dianne Kennedy of Saint Marys.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers: John and James Coldiron; by a step-son, Steven Kennedy; a grandson, Shane Kennedy.
Mr. Coldiron was self-employed in the recycling industry.
He enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his grandchildren, watching cartoons and Clint Eastwood movies.
He was a veteran of the United States Army.
Funeral rites will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday, October 16, 2009, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, Pastor Bob Warren, officiant. Burial will be held at Elm Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5-8 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home, where memorial donations may be directed to the family.
