Derrick Michael Coldiron, 14, of 224 West Anthony Street, Celina, died Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at Children's Medical Center, Dayton.

He was born March 19, 1997, in Coldwater, Ohio, the son of Casandra Coldiron and she survives in Celina.

He is also survived by his maternal grandparents with whom he made his home, Jack and Louise Coldiron of Celina; by his siblings: Courtney Coldiron of Celina; Lucas Coldiron of Celina; Mia Jacquay of Celina and Parkin Jacquay of Celina; by an aunt, Chasity Wolfe of Celina; uncles Mike Wolfe of Celina and Christopher Coldiron of Coldwater.

Derrick was home schooled and had attended Only Believe Ministries in Botkins, Ohio.

He was surrounded and cherished by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Derrick "Blue Boy" Coldiron enjoyed music, long walks, being with his family and his cartoons. He loved the color blue. 

Funeral rites will be held 8:00 P.M. Monday, June 20, 2011, at the Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 West High Street, Saint Marys, Pastor Tony Richmond, officiant. Memorial donations may be given to a college fund for his siblings.
