Paul L. Christopher, 58, 610 Farrington Court, St.Marys, OH, died 5:20 p.m. Friday, March 7,  2008 at St.Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH, following a brief illness. 

He was born August 7,1949 in Celina, OH, the son of Harry and Rose (Weber) Christopher. 

He married Rebecca Axe on July 8, 1972; she survives at the residence. 

He is survived by:

¨ Son, Brian (Kelly) Christopher, St.Marys, OH

¨ Son, Tom (and finance, Jennifer Muhlenkamp) Christopher, St.Marys, OH

¨ Sister, Paulette (Mike) Miller, St.Marys, OH

¨ Sister, Cheryl (Ed) Broyles, St.Marys, OH

¨ Nieces: Chris Broyles, Wapakoneta, OH; Beth Elston, Cleves, OH; Lisa Bowman, St.Marys, OH 

He was preceded in death by his parents and a step-father, Fred Barga. 

Paul was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served on the USS Columbus in the Mediterranean Sea.  He was a member of American Legion Post 323 in St.Marys.  He was employed at Thieman Stamping Company in New Bremen, OH, where he was a shipping clerk.  He was also employed at Ace Hardware in St.Marys. 

Paul enjoyed boating and nature.  He loved helping his children with the building and remodeling of their homes.  He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St.Marys, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 12,2008 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, the Rev. Anthony Cutcher, celebrant.  Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery, St.Marys, OH.

Friends may call from 4-8p.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH where memorial donations may be directed to Friends of Holy Rosary or Auglaize County Cancer Center.
