Otis R. Chilcoat, 40, formerly of Van Wert and Wapakoneta, OH, died 6:13 p.m. Thursday October 2, 2008 in the emergency department of Western Baptist Hospital in Paducah, KY. He sustained fatal injuries when the all-terrain vehicle he was driving struck a tree.

He was born June 17, 1967 in St.Marys, OH to Lowell Thomas & Barbara A. (Orwig) Chilcoat.

He is survived by:

• son, Josh Chilcoat of Van Wert, OH

• son, Jonathon Chilcoat of Van Wert, OH

• son, Justin Chilcoat of Van Wert, OH

• son, Jacob Chilcoat of Van Wert, OH

• sister, Ginger (Harold) Nalley of Paducah, KY

• brother, Lowell Thomas (Cindy) Chilcoat, Jr. of Wapakoneta, OH

• brother, Johnny Chilcoat of Paducah, KY

• sister, Minnie Clevenger of Wapakoneta, OH

He was preceded in death by his: parents, brother Benny Chilcoat, sister Beverly Kelly

He attended Wapakoneta Schools.

He worked as a general laborer.

He enjoyed driving his all-terrain vehicle and being in the great outdoors.

Services are scheduled 2:00 p.m. Wednesday October 8, 2008 at the Miller - Long & Folk Funeral Home (314 W. High Street) in St.Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in St.Marys.

Visitation noon until time of services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
