Ruth Amelia Cantwell, 89, 1109 Jackson Ave., Celina, OH, died at 5:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at The Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford, OH.

Ruth was born April 20,1918 in Auglaize County, OH, the daughter of Henry and Clara (Kauffman) Glass.

She married Stanley Cantwell on April 12, 1955 in St.Marys, OH, and he preceded her in death on May 23, 1995.

She is survived by:

· Daughter, Beverly Sue (Stanley) Cantwell-Bader, Van Wert, OH

· Brother, Guy (Alma) Glass, St.Marys, OH

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brother, Robert Glass; and her sister, Edna Adams.

Ruth attended school at Celina and was employed by Goodyear in St.Marys, all the while being a farm housewife and mother. 

She enjoyed reading and work on the farm.  She was an avid fan of he Chicago Cubs Baseball Team.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in St.Marys, OH.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 15, 2007 at Zion Lutheran Church, 210 N. Wayne St., St.Marys, OH with the Rev. Bill Maki officiating.  Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery in Celina, OH.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 14, 2007 from 2--4 and 6--8 p.m. at Miller-Long and Folk Funeral Home, 314 W. High St., St.Marys, OH.

Memorials may be directed to the Zion Lutheran Church building fund.
