James T. Burke, 52, of 04670 Glynwood Road, St.Marys, OH died unexpectedly on Saturday, March 7, 2009, at his residence following a brief illness. 

He was born September 16, 1956, in St.Marys, Ohio, the son of David and Isabel (Hartke) Burke. His mother survives in St.Marys. 

Jim married Kimberly Lininger on August 21, 1976; she preceded him in death on December 7, 1998.

He was preceded in death by his father and wife. 

Jim was a 1975 graduate of St.Marys Memorial High School. He was employed at Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Glynwood. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles; he lived on a small farm and enjoyed caring for his animals there. He loved spending time with his granddaughter, Audrey. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 767 in Saint Marys. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 12, 2009, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Glynwood, Father Oscar Seger, celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, Ohio, where memorial donations may be directed to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
