Rebecca Jean Bowers, 48, of 805 McKinley Road, St.Marys, OH died 5:05 P.M. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at St.Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, OH, following a brief illness. 

She was born August 5,1960 in Muncie, IN, the daughter of Glen and Judy (Frazier) Cross.  Her parents survive in Winchester, IN. 

She married Mark Bowers on November 21, 1992; he survives at the residence. 

She is survived by:

¨ Step-son, Shane Bowers of Wapakoneta, OH

¨ Step-daughter, Shonda Bowers of Perrysburg, OH

¨ Grandmother, Thelma Frazier of Winchester, IN

¨ Brother, Scott (Anna) Cross  of Winchester, IN

¨ Brother, Steve (Janelle) Cross of Greenville, OH

¨ Husband’s grandmother, Ruth Raymond of St.Marys, OH

¨ Parents-in-law, John and Jill Bowers, St.Marys, OH 

She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, April. 

Rebecca had attended Winchester High School.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed computers and was a Club Pogo fan.  She enjoyed riding motorcycles and cooking; she loved her grandchildren and spoiling those around her.

Memorial services will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 26,2008 at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH, the Rev. Bill Maki officiant.  Private family burial rites will be held at a later date.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home where memorial donations may be directed to the American Heart Association.
