Mary Lou Baker, 79, of 211 North Walnut Street, St. Marys, Oh, died 10:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2009 at the Valley Nursing Home in St.Marys, OH. 

She was born November 2, 1929 in Willshire, OH, the daughter of John and Bess (Hole) Miller. 

She married Vernon Baker on May 26, 1962; he preceded her in death. 

She is survived by:

¨ Daughter, Serena (Joe) Caiola of Palmdale, CA

¨ Daughter, Theresa (Dave) Bubp of  St.Marys, OH

¨ Daughter, Rhonda (Abdul) Gaffar of Saugus, CA

¨ 5 grandchildren

¨ 3 step-grandchildren

¨ 2 great-grandchildren

¨ Sister, Virginia Dague of Pleasant Mills, MI

¨ Sister, Betty Michaels of Columbus Grove, Oh 

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters: Dorothy Whitmore, Patricia Hoskins and Inola Miller. 

Mary graduated from Willshire High School in 1948.  She retired from Buckeye Apparel Company in Coldwater, OH, where she had worked as a sewing machine operator for 42 years. 

She had attended the First Church of the Nazarene in St.Marys, OH.  She enjoyed working puzzles, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren.

Visiting hours for Mrs. Baker will be held 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, February 13 at Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St.Marys, OH. Funeral rites will be held at 6:00 p.m. February 13 at the funeral home with Rev. Tim Smith officiating.  Burial will follow at a later date at Willshire Cemetery, Willshire, OH.
