Dawn (Roettger) Kelly

Dawn Kelly, 73, of Sidney, Ohio, died 6:10 A.M. Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Hospice of Miami County, Troy, Ohio.

She was born April 25, 1950, in Pittsburg, California. She was adopted and raised by Merlin and Lois (Young) Roettger in New Knoxville, Ohio.

She married Kevin Kelly on May 29, 1987, and he survives in Sidney.

She is also survived by her sons: Michael Colvin of Lima; Matt (Melinda) Colvin of Saint Marys; by her grandchildren: Cory Colvin and Allie Colvin; Allison Heffner; Tara McClure; by her great grandson, Dawson Colvin; by her brother, Larry (Nancy) Roettger of Sidney.

Dawn was a 1969 graduate of New Knoxville High School. She worked for many years as a nurses’ aide at the Heritage Manor Nursing Home in Minster. She had formerly belonged to the Calvary Chapel Baptist Church in Minster, and she enjoyed playing bingo, putting puzzles together, and various activities at Jackson Towers in Sidney.

A gathering of friends and family will be held from 2-5 P.M. Saturday, March 30, 2024, at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys.
